Billionaire, property mogul and television personality, Donald Trump, has spoken out about actress Anne Hathaway’s supposed split from boyfriend Raffaello Folliere, saying that he believes the movie star only dated the real estate millionaire for his money.
The ‘Get Smart’ star reportedly broke up with the Italian businessman in June - shortly before he was arrested on suspicion of fraud - however, she has yet to publicly acknowledge the split.
Trump apparently believes that Hathaway should have remained loyal to her boyfriend throughout his legal ordeal, saying in a statement issued by his publicist to ABCNews.com, “After (his legal troubles) she was gone… and fast! Sadly, that seems to be the way life works.”
In an interview with Access Hollywood, Trump added: “She hasn’t remained very loyal to him, has she? So when he had plenty of money, she liked him, but then after that, not as good, right?”
